I have a love hate relationship with green salads.
Love em’ when they are fresh
but if they are soggy… eugh.
And I hate when the salad spoils
before I get a chance to use it all up.
So you could only imagine how happy I was
when I saw this great image/idea
floating around online.
Check it out:
From bottom to top:
Dressing, veggies, seeds or nuts and
spinach/lettuce/kale – your choice of greens.
Arrange ingredients in a large mason jar.
Store in fridge for up to a week.
When you’re ready to eat just shake the jar,
place the salad on a plate, and eat!
Always remember to put the dressing
at the bottom and the lettuce at the top!
